Quantum Communication

In our day to day interactions we do lots of chatting but little conscious communicating. Yet how we communicate with ourselves and others defines who we are. We make promises and ask for things, we become aware of our world, we fall in love, we run families. In short, our conversations expand our awareness and shape our identity. They offer new information, generate trust and shared commitment and coordinate our actions with others.
When you become a quantum communicator you are able to manifest your deepest desires through learning how to communicate in a way that has a profound impact on your life and the lives of others. Becoming a Quantum Communicator is possibly the most important gift you can give yourself and those who are important to you
When you are a Quantum Communicator, you change the way you speak and listen to yourself and others in a profound way. You transform the nature of your relationships and this brings greater joy and success. Increased self – awareness is essential because it allows you to gain deeper knowledge of who you are, positively shape the way you show up in the world and increase the quality of your life.
Programmes like those we teach at the MindIndigo Centre www.mindindigowellness.com offer the opportunity for you to:

Revealing Life’s Potential Through Synergistic Interaction

It has been said that everything happening around us calls up life’s potential within us, and when we align with our Infinite Pure Conscious Mind, which is eternal, universal and outside our finite conscious awareness, we align with its pure potentiality and are able to create truly unique and appropriate responses to the impermanence of our lives. Throughout history, disruptions in our taken-for-granted ways of thinking and acting have caused seismic shifts in our ideas about truth and reality. Thomas Kuhn (1962) called these disruptions “paradigm shifts” and their uniqueness lies in the fact that once they happen nothing remains the same. More importantly, as Einstein said, they cannot be solved by the same thinking that caused them. When we attempt to do so, we make things worse and allow them to gather energy so insidiously that it’s hard to locate their original cause and impossible to reverse their effect. So if we can’t solve problems with the same thinking we used to create them, how do we solve them? Before answering this question, it may be worth exploring exactly what we mean by disruptive change.

The insidious nature of disruptive change is best explained using the lens offered by George Land who, in 1973, proposed a unifying theory of transformation in his book Grow or Die. According to Land, all things grow and develop in a four-phase pattern: gather, repeat, share and transform. For example, babies move through the gather phase by taking in nourishment and growing in size. This stage is marked by growth of sameness, simply getting larger without changing form. Once the first stage is complete the second stage can begin. In the repeat phase, teenagers grow by influencing their peers to be like them. Growth is achieved by replicating one’s likeness in a given subculture. Children do this when they join with their peers to dress or talk in like manner. According to Land, groups that form around self-similarity are replicating themselves and are in the second phase of growth. The third phase, share is the most mature stage. This is when adults mutually grow through reciprocal interaction and form a larger whole, whether in a corporation, community or family. In the repeat phase, the important message from Land is that we grow by maximizing sameness, but in the share phase, we grow by maximizing differences, so that a higher social order or social system might thrive, giving way to transformation in phase 4, which, by its very nature, succeeds and encompasses the former system.

All phases leading to the transformation share one thing in common, they are transitions, not transformations. This is an important distinction because transitions usually do respond to thinking and acting within the rules of the predominant paradigm. They don’t necessarily spell disaster, but if disaster is to be averted and a threat transformed into an opportunity, it is necessary to challenge the belief that we have life figured out and become adept at questioning and changing the patterns of the predominant paradigm. At no time in our history has this been more possible than in our present paradigm the age of information and knowledge. Through powerful computing and networking technology, we are able to exchange information in the shape of thoughts and ideas faster than any generation that has gone before.

So in answering the question of how to solve complex problems with higher quality of thinking, we can see that this internet enabled technology allows us to communicate information in ways that shape consciousness by bringing forth new worlds. These worlds establish pervasive and distinctive ways in which things, people and selves appear and make sense. Like the ‘Fibonacci sequence’ the power of these reciprocal interactions is a kind of explosion of emergent creativity driven by people with a passion to pursue those challenges they care most about and which, when solved, make life worth living for themselves and society at large. They also share a willingness to gain power by giving it away.

The driving force of the age of consciousness is Infinite Pure Consciousness naturally seeking awakened opportunity. Indeed, it may well be an evolving expression of a universe in the process of awakening to itself. According to the Buddha, this impulse to awaken is inherent in all manifestations – it’s all “Buddha nature.” The universe’s potential for awakening can be understood by consciousness – the most highly evolved expression of our universe’s energy

Often Not Seen But Never Not So

Social networking is force of unprecedented power, mirroring natural laws of integrative interactive emergence. With the help of technology, we can achieve levels of creativity unimaginable only a few years ago and for those concerned with manifesting the emergent outcomes from these integrative interactions, the challenge is less about coordinating action and more about creating synergistic results through building and sustaining high quality relationships.

In this new world, empirical theories of classical science are being challenged by a “quantum reality” more akin to spirituality, where notions of time and space no longer apply. This is especially relevant in the internet age where, through a recursive process, technology is being shaped by our emergent desire for wholeness, preciousness and freshness and we are being shaped by the power of new technology to help us become whole, precious and fresh. Heidegger called us “world disclosers,” using tools and technology to discover more and more about the world and our place in it. We simply cannot resist the desire to connect with one another and to grow our individual identities as we strive for wholeness, preciousness and freshness.

Previously, I described how new theories of consciousness are explaining how complex synergistic interactions among like minded people arise from quantum activities embedded in the fine scale structure of the universe which is an undifferentiated, non-dual field of pure conscious awareness. Being embedded in the fine scale structure of the universe such synergistic creativity is an evolving expression of a universe in the process of awakening.
Each one of us is a natural expression of universal potential seeking wholeness, preciousness and freshness. We achieve this through the conscious and continuous pursuit of our life’s mission, which is always and in all ways welcomed by the unbounded possibilities existing in The Divine Universe of Pure Consciousness. This impulse to awaken is inherent in all manifestations and can be understood by consciousness – the most highly evolved expression of our universe’s energy.

More importantly, the connections we make are not simply linear transactions but highly synergistic and transcendent interactions with emergent outcomes far greater than the sum of the individual parts. Moreover, the information arising contributes to our evolving consciousness. Why else would information and communications technology be embraced with such energy and inventiveness? It is in our nature, especially our natural propensity to interact if left to our own devices. We are pure potential naturally seeking awakened opportunity.

Through successive, integrative interactions, phenomena and entities at each level of scale self-organize into emergent phenomena and, in so doing, alter their participation with it, and because our participation contributes to the emerging reality, evolving consciousness alters
evolving reality. This is the essence of our work at the MindIndigo Centre where we teach new ways to creatively develop your capacity to reach your true potential. Our programmes are designed to be dynamic, on-going and aligned with your life challenges and we aim to develop creativity and innovation in thinking and learning. They are practical in nature with emphasis on action and improvement.  We meet the needs of those who seek to increase their capacity to continually expand their awareness and increase self - motivation and self - empowerment.

The four capstones of our New Horizons of Consciousness Process are:

1) Expanding your awareness and paying attention to your intuition challenging you to change your “status quo”.

2) Accessing the information in the Divine Universe of Pure Consciousness through meditation, yoga and other mindfulness practices and becoming clear on the opportunities awaiting you beyond your new horizon.

 3) Becoming intentional and focusing your energy, will and spirit on manifesting your deepest desires. Being aware of new information and opportunities as they appear in “quantum coincidences” sent from “beyond” to serve your new purpose.

4) Structuring your body, mind and spirit to serve you in your single minded pursuit of your higher state of being.

If you are still not sure about joining our next New Horizons of Consciousness Retreat, I will leave you with one question. Have you anything better to do? Think carefully before you answer, because your life may depend on it.

A New Look as Consciousness

In a recent post, I described how new theories of consciousness explain how complex synergistic interactions among like minded people arise from quantum activities embedded in the fine scale structure of the universe. The emergent manifestations from these interactions often appear as if by accident or coincidence rather than design. Yet designed they most certainly are.

Such "Connectional Intelligence," as Dhawan and Joni's call it in their new book, "Get Big Things Done: The Power of Connectional Intelligence gives rise to synergistic interactions that produce outcomes far greater than one mind could dream of and their manifestations have a long term positive impact on ourselves and our planet. In Open Source Communities, people work a lot harder on opportunities which make life better for themselves and their communities. They willingly engage their potential, their talent and their skills by activating their minds thinking, their heart’s feeling and their body’s sensing. Through the skillful Intentionality, these synergistic communities possess a common sense of purpose and values which others willingly buy into and through a paradoxical blend of personal humility and professional skill, they focus the Attention of others on what could, should and will be required to make their Intention manifest through maintaining a healthy balance of randomness with predictability.

Being embedded in the fine scale structure of the universe such synergistic creativity is an evolving expression of a universe in the process of awakening. After all, each one of us is a natural expression of universal potential seeking wholeness, preciousness and freshness. We achieve this through continuous pursuit of our life’s mission, which is always and in all ways welcomed by the unbounded possibilities existing in our quantum universe of pure consciousness. According to the Buddha, this impulse to awaken is inherent in all manifestations – it’s all “Buddha nature.” The universe’s potential for awakening can be understood by consciousness – the most highly evolved expression of our universe’s energy.

When the Mud Settles and the Water Clears God Speaks

Today, on Facebook I read an article by Joe Rogan on his experience in a Sensory Deprivation Chamber. In the article he describes the moment when the noise in your head stops and, "something truly amazing happens." The truly amazing happening is the moment we go beyond self consciousness and enter a state of "Pure Consciousness" and experience oneness with God.

A more readily accessible way of entering "The Field of Pure Consciousness" is through meditation and yoga. So much of what Joe describes is especially achievable through meditation. The ancient Indian scriptures such as the Vedas and  Bhagavad Gita describe this practice as achieving oneness of Self in Brahman (God).  Similarly, the Advaita Vedanta describes the oneness of Atman (soul) and Brahman (God) as its essence. In addition to yoga and meditation, these scriptures form the foundation of the practices of music, dance, drama and poetry in the performing arts of India.

Over the past 100 years, scientists have validated through experiment,  the presence of the "Field of Pure Consciousness" which while external to us, is readily accessible through "The Gap" between our thoughts. When we enter "The Gap" with a sense of desire, opportunities arise as if by coincidence and our deep abiding desire is soulful integration which arises from the interaction of wholeness, preciousness and freshness. Soulful integration exists in The "Field of Pure Consciousness" because there is no separation, only oneness with God. In our awakened state of self-consciousness, our desire to connect with one another is so natural and if achieved with care, love and shared intention our individual identities can exist in alignment with others as we each strive for wholeness, preciousness and freshness in self and in all things.

These principles form the basis of Open Source Psychology which honors the existence of pure spiritual potential as the motivating force bringing order to the underlying chaos of everyday life. Through our work at the MindIndigo Center we aim to connect clients with their spiritual potential and generate the energy to fuel their movement away from re-activity toward creativity. Through yoga, meditation and other mindful practices, we awaken people to this life force that moves within, without and between us.  A life force that is ever present in our extended bodies as well, swirling with the wind, exploding with the surf, swaying with the trees, and rolling through blades of grass. The existence of life’s energy may be invisible, but it is certainly not beyond our ability to be conscious of it.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about.
Rumi
Open Source Counseling is the practice of going beyond the constricting forces of your body bound ego to discover your pure source of unbounded potential and in so doing enabling others to discover theirs. Attempts to discover the origins of this energy will ultimately bear fruit, as we prove through experimentation that there is a force that gives mass to the universe and makes life possible. Today, the existence of this invisible energy – call it God’s energy, Buddha nature or whatever term is meaningful to you This energy, which comes in many forms including heat, light, electricity and gravity, is the prime mover of all activity; it is life and consciousness. Through Open Source Psychology, we leverage this consciousness and, in so doing, alter our participation with it, and because our participation contributes to the emerging reality, evolving consciousness alters evolving reality. Consequently, when we become conscious of something we change its true nature from pure consciousness to self- consciousness thereby objectifying reality. It is this non local nature of consciousness which scientists have termed "The Hard Problem" because we have no knowledge of where it exists. One thing for sure is that it is outside of out physical being.

In truth, we are literally altering consciousness and thus altering our participation with it. Because our
participation contributes to the emerging reality, evolving consciousness alters evolving reality. As
Heidegger’reminds us, we are “world disclosers,” using tools and technology to discover more and more about the world in which we live. We simply cannot resist the desire to connect with one another and to grow our individual identities as we strive for wholeness, preciousness and freshness.
More importantly, the connections we do make are not simply linear transactions but are highly synergistic interactions operating integratively to produce emergent transcendent products.

The trinity of wholeness, preciousness and freshness form part of the Universal Rule of trinities such as:

■ The Father, Son and Holy Spirit of Christianity
Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva of HinduismDharma, Sangha and Buddha of Buddhism
Other important trinities in science are:

the three dimensions of space – height, width and depth
the three stages of time – past, present and future – which conspire
to comprise space and time.

Trinities of integrative interaction also underlay the practices of music, dance, drama and poetry in the performing arts of India. These examples offer important clues to the awakening of consciousness in Open Source Psychology and its related counseling practice. No matter where it is practiced, this approach to expanding human consciousness is unique because it honors the existence of pure spiritual potential as the motivating force bringing order to underlying chaos. And it is spiritual potential that generates the energy to fuel our movement toward re-activity and creativity. This energetic life force that moves within, without and between us is ever present in our extended bodies as well, swirling with the wind, exploding with the surf, swaying with the trees, and rolling
through blades of grass. The existence of life’s energy may be invisible, but it is certainly not beyond our ability to be conscious of it.

THE UNIVERSE’S RULES

Are you looking for me?
I am in the next seat …
When you really look for me
you will see me instantly.
You will find me in the tiniest house of time.
Kabir says: Student, tell me, what is God?
He is the breath inside the breath.

It seems we humans can't resist the temptation to seek the truth in just about every realm of life. As Martin Heidegger (1962 [1927]) put it, we  are constantly seeking answers to complex questions like who are we and why do we exist? In the past, answers to these quintessential questions  have come from mystics not "real scientists" as Albert Einstein pointed out when he said that God does not play dice. But now 100 years on, "real scientists" still cannot explain why in the sub atomic universe, deterministic laws do not apply, As Stephen Hawking said "not only does God play dice, but he roles them where they cannot be found".

Answers to questions about who are we, why we exist and what it means to be conscious remain unknown.  In this series of articles, I will attempt to explore and explain opinions on this topic from the perspective of spiritual and contemplative traditions as well as those of some scientists and philosophers who consider consciousness to precede biology and exist in the fine scale structure of the universe along with charge, mass and spin of electrons and intrinsic creativity.

My exploration and explanation will be through a set of sound generalizations or “universal rules,” which allow us to understand the intrinsic creativity emerging from synergistic interactions among like-minded people in social networks. It is only with a thorough understanding of natural laws or rules that I believe we can begin to unravel the mystery of these underlying patterns, and using them as a lens, I will attempt to show how complex interactions among people can be managed in ways that maximize the source of human potential lying at the heart of human enterprise. Being natural rules, we discover that they applied to a range of situations from organizations in crisis, societies emerging from oppressive regimes, or nations in economic transition – the patterns are the same. My lens will reveal how we act as mirrors for one another and how our synergistic interactions allow us to successfully pursue those things we care most about and which make life worth living. My lens also reveals that we gain power by giving it away and our pure potential naturally seeks awakened opportunity. Applying this lens, I will show how the complex interactions taking place on the Internet are those embedded in the fine scale structure of the universe and are an evolving expression of a universe in the process of awakening. After all, each one of us is a natural expression of universal potential seeking wholeness, preciousness and freshness. We achieve this through continuous pursuit of our life’s mission, which is always and in all ways welcomed by the unbounded possibilities existing in our universe. According to the Buddha, this impulse to awaken is inherent in all manifestations – it’s all “Buddha nature.” The universe’s potential for awakening can be understood by consciousness – the most highly evolved expression of our universe’s energy.
